A unfortunate hiccup came when Rex Everything sneaked copies of the single onto the desks of all the Radio 1 DJs. The resulting carpeting caused Rex to consider abandoning his burgeoning career as a Television Production Engineer and take up the (unpaid) post of Trombonist with the Mixers.
